Old ... so ... old ...

30 years ago tonight I went to my first Grateful Dead show.

At least I'm still alive, eh Jerry?

Funny the way the world works sometimes. Back on NYE a fellow New Jerseyan blogger decided to listen to and review a NYE show and out of all the choices from all the GD NYE shows through the years, he went with JGB 12/31/75 with Bob Weir and Matt Kelly ... same show I chose and posted for folks.

Couple weeks ago I decided to put up the 1/22/78 show as an "XX Years Ago" post... and then low and behold you went and typed it in to Google because it was your first show.

Very cool. Groovy could be used, too.

Thanks for the link, my friend.

Peace to you in the beautiful state of Oregon!

Nice blog. My first show was in S.F., where I was born and raised.(I'd guess we are close to the same age.) It's nice to be reminded that there are lots of us (old);) Deadheads out there, remembering.

Mac Court 1/22/78 was my second Dead show. A transcendent experience. I lived a few blocks south, by the Masonic Cemetery, but it took me hours to find my way home after the show. I had been transported to another world.
